The more likable of the two main scientists, Ellen specializes in powering Progress City and controlling the weather dome that surrounds it. She is a naturally curious person, and is enthusiastic about science and technology, so don’t be surprised if she accidentally talks your ear off if you decide to visit her. Beyond that, she’s a cheerful person who loves cracking an occasional joke, and is pretty easy to get along with because of that.

Besides the Dreamfinder, Ellen is the only one who makes an attempt to be friends with Bill, but she’s more open about how terrible he is. Also she still didn't like him enough to share a lab with him, so. There's that.
